The FRWC hosts many events throughout the year for their members which are well attended.

Those taking part in the Kids Day tournament is one in which the participant must be a
member, or can be sponsored by a member.

Some of the annual events offered by the FWRC are:

NEW, TAKE NOTE: Board meetings will now be held after every event instead of being
held on the Sunday after an event, if you are on the board, please attend these meetings, they
are VERY IMPORTANT and we need your input.

AWARDS NIGHT/ANNUAL MEETING:This early spring event recognizes club members who have caught the
largest Walleye and Sauger during the past year. Awards are given to the top anglers who
are given special recognition for fish caught and released. This is also the key business
meeting of the club and includes the election of Officers and Directors in which members
are always invited.

The banquet date is March 9, 2013. The banquet will be a chicken dinner, at a cost of $10.00 per person. You may send in a registration form or call Julie May with your reservation by February 14, 2013. Directors meeting will be from 3-4 pm with a social hour from 4-5pm followed by the meal and awards, please try to attend. Let us know by February 15 if you can attend or not by calling Julie May at (608) 412-4449 or mail $10 for adults; $5 for children ages 6-12; children under 6-no charge to:

Put down how many adults and children in your group, the children's ages along with your name and a contact number.

-Years Top Walleye/Sauger-

ROUNDUP: The first big tournament of the year is held in April. This is an individual
fishing contest in which prizes are awarded for the top walleye and sauger caught during that
day's tournament.
Round-Up Dice Shake: A special “high pick” with the top winner
having a choice from either a rod & reel, or a Seafood Sampler Basket; the 2nd place winner will
receive the prize not chosen by the 1st place winner.

RUMMAGE SALE--unsure: Every year the Falling Rock Walleye Club has held a Rummage Sale
which helps raise money for the expenses the club incurs during the year. Members and
others bring down new or used items donated to this sale, and leave them at the
shelter where the sale is held. A fun time is always had by all, rain or shine.

Hours in the past have been from 8am to 5pm. Drop off items whenever you'd like, mark all items, large/
small. Please check after the sale to see if they sold, if not, it is your responsibility to
pick them them up after from the shelter. Check with a board member to see if it will take place in 2013.

RUMMAGE SALE ------------------May not be held in 2013



KIDS DAY: The Kids Day fishing tournament is held in June. Prizes are awarded by
age group for the largest fish caught in each category but noone goes away empty handed
as all participants receive a special trophy. Food and games is provided by the Club for
all who take part in this exciting event.

2013 KIDS DAY--------------------------JUNE 8th



Kids day in 2013 will be one week earlier to coincide with Wisconsin's free fishing weekend so you won't need a license to fish that weekend!

-Fishing times are 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) with final weigh-in at 12:30 PM, sharp.
-All fish are to be weighed at the shelter.
-Weigh only the biggest fish of each species.
-Only one award per child.
-Lunch will start around 12:40 PM with games starting around 1:15 PM.
-Age groups are 0 - 7 and 8 - 15 as of January 1, 2011.
-All of our kids must have a sponsor which is a member, but kids do not have to be members. So bring a friend and have fun.
-Please wear your life jackets in the boat. -Also please sign up before going fishing in order to make sure we have a trophy for everyone.

-We would appreciate it if you would bring a dish to pass.
**There a dice shake for afghan (donated by Blanche Saland).
**A dice shake for a fishing rod & reel at the Falling Rock Bar. It is $1 a chance.
**We will also have a rod & reel for kids only for 50 cents.

2013 LADIES DAY: This event recognizes the ladies' contribution to the Walleye Club.
Those who bring in the top fish in each category receive awards, and the top Walleye and
Sauger also receive cash prizes. This event is held in July and fishing begins at 7:00 A.M.
going until 2:00 P.M. Each member taking part enjoy a good meal, beverages, games.

-LADIES DAY RESULTS-

PORK ROAST: Ladies Day is being held in September, a day for all the "ladies" of the club. Those
taking part enjoy fishing, horseshoes, and bingo. Later in the day those
everyone treated to food and beverages after which prizes are given out.
MAKE NOTE: 2014 LADIES DAY AND THE PORK ROAST WILL BE COMBINED IN SEPTEMBER!

2013 PORK ROAST---------------------SEPTEMBER 21st



WINDUP: In October, the final walleye/sauger fishing tournament of the year takes
place. This is a team event and the five largest fish caught in each category receive prizes.
Those who catch and release trophy fish are given special recognition. In 2013 the
club will return to the past format including Adult Games (Egg toss, balloon toss,
dunk take if cost permits, bingo at noon, and a horseshoe tournament at 1 pm. Come
join the fun.
This year's Pork Roast event has a Matthews Drenalin Camo Bow on raffle for $10/ticket at Mitchell's Liquor Bar. There will only be 150 tickets sold and the drawing will be at the FRWC Shelter the night of the Pork Roast at 6 pm. Get your tickets now, if interested. NOTED ABOVE: LADIES DAY AND THE PORK ROAST WILL BE COMBINED IN SEPTEMBER, STARTING 2014!
