The FRWC encourages sportsmanship among anglers as well as a "Catch and Release" program so future generations will be able to enjoy the thrill of Walleye fishing. It encourages participation in many of the events which the club holds (Events page) and to continue the fishing "tradition" through future generations.

Membership in the Falling Rock Walleye Club begins on January 1st and runs until December 31st, giving all who are members access to all contests and events held by the club.

Members also receive a newsletter which keeps them updated on upcoming events, club news, and results of prior contests held. Recently a portion was added which features a "Kid's Corner" giving the younger members of the Walleye Club a chance to speak about someone who has influenced them through fishing, or whatever they wish to talk about. The club always encourages younger members because it helps ensure that the sport of fishing won't die out.
